Lotame: la venta de audiencias segmentadas de alta calidad crece más del triple en México

Alimentos, hogar y viajes son los segmentos con mayor demanda en el país.

Ciudad de México, a 03 de mayo de 2022.– Lotame, único proveedor flexible de soluciones de datos e impulsor de rendimiento a través de todas las plataformas, reveló que la venta de third-party data de alta calidad en México creció 222 por ciento y los segmentos con mayor demanda fueron alimentos y bebidas, hogar y familia, viajes y compras online, durante el segundo semestre de 2021 . 

Los datos de terceros sirven para que los anunciantes logren impactar a audiencias asociadas a ciertos intereses, demografía y comportamientos para llegar a consumidores clave. “Los third-party data son una prioridad para las agencias y anunciantes, ya que abren la oportunidad para entender, analizar y alcanzar a nuevas audiencias de forma precisa y escalable,” explica Sebastián Yoffe, Managing Director Latam & US Hispanics en Lotame.

Estos segmentos son un reflejo de la evolución de los intereses de los consumidores. Los anunciantes aprovechan las audiencias de alta calidad para comprender cómo interactuar con la población mexicana, que ante la baja de contagios de covid-19, se emocionó mucho más por los viajes, pero al mismo tiempo seguía interesada en compras para el hogar y en sitios de comercio electrónico“, explicó Yoffe.

México es el país que lidera la demanda de third-party data en Latinoamérica, seguido por Brasil, Chile, Argentina y Colombia. En Latinoamérica la compra de third-party data creció 247 por ciento en la segunda mitad del 2021. Globalmente, Lotame notó un crecimiento del 25 por ciento anual del 2020 al 2021.

Según el análisis de Lotame, a nivel mundial las categorías en la que más invirtieron los marketers son negocios B2B (33 por ciento más) y Connected TV (o CTV, 78 por ciento más).

Lotame, the only flexible provider of data solutions and driver of performance across all platforms, revealed that the sale of high-quality third-party data in Mexico grew 222 percent and the segments with the highest demand were food and beverages, home and family, travel and online shopping, during the second half of 2021.

Advertisers took advantage of high-quality audiences to understand how to engage the Mexican population, which, given the drop in covid-19 infections, became much more excited about travel, but at the same time remained interested in purchases for the home and on e-commerce sites,” Yoffe explained.

Mexico is the country that leads the demand for third-party data in Latin America, followed by Brazil, Chile, Argentina, and Colombia. In Latin America, the purchase of third-party data grew 247 percent in the second half of 2021. Globally, Lotame saw data sales increase 25 percent, from full year 2020 to full year 2021.
