This week’s Under the Hood features a core member of our Engineering team here at…
This week’s “Under the Hood” employee spotlight features one of Lotame’s Sales Development Representatives, Gabrielle Esposito. By day, Gaby handles a lot of our sales and strategic outreach, but by night she is planning her next adventure, to Italy! Let’s learn more about Gaby!
Where were you prior to Lotame? What did you study in school?
Oddly enough- I studied Nutrition in college. My concentration was in management so my courses were very much split between nutrition and business. When I graduated, one interview led to another and I found myself in a ‘Sales Coordinator’ role for Contact Manufacturing group. I got a taste for customer service, sales, and business- It was very corporate-y.
What is your position here at Lotame? What is your day to day like?
I’m the Senior Sales Development Representative here at Lotame. My day-to-day is LEAD GENERATION. My team brings new business opportunities in the front door. We work to reach out to all inbound inquiries, assist AE’s with their strategic outreach, and participate in special outreach projects with other teams, like Marketing. We’re really the first point of contact for many people that are interested in Lotame. I’ve also recently taken on some new responsibilities, including revamping the SDR program and helping to train our new team member.
Were you new to the marketing technology industry when you were introduced to Lotame? What was it like learning about this industry?
I was new to the martech industry when I was hired at Lotame! It’s definitely challenging to understand an industry that is constantly changing and evolving. Every use case differs slightly. I’ve learned to really enjoy this ever-changing industry. It keeps me on my toes.
Can you describe the environment here at Lotame?
Work hard, chill hard? We’re really lucky to have such a smart, hard working, & down to earth team.
What is one piece of advice you would give someone new to the industry?
Give it time. What may sound like a completely foreign language will eventually start to make sense and fall into place.
What is the best place you have ever traveled to?
Hopefully my upcoming trip to Italy. (July)
Tell us one thing we don’t already know about you?
I’ve never had taco bell.
