Lotame’s Ryan Reed Speaking at 2017 NAB Show

Ryan Reed, Lotame’s Director of Innovation, will be speaking on a panel at the 2017 NAB show in Las Vegas on April 25th.

The National Association of Broadcasters is the premier trade association for broadcasters, delivering value to their members through advocacy, education, and innovation and are considered the voice of the nation’s radio and television broadcasters.

This annual event allows global visionaries to convene and discuss the hybrid solutions and boundless connectivity that is changing the very nature of how we live, work, and play. Attendees come from every vertical and industry in the digital ecosystem, including Broadcast, Digital Media, Film, Telecom, Post-Production, and more.

The theme of this year’s event is the “M.E.T Effect”, focused on the convergence of media, entertainment, and technology. Reed’s panel is titled “Strategies for Advanced Advertising: The Data” and will be taking place on April 25th from 10:30am – 11:00 am.

The panel will cover some of the following topics:

  • What sources of viewer/buyer and other data will be available to sellers and buyers?
  • How will new data be layered on top of traditional viewer data and accessed/used by advertisers/agencies to inform media planning and buying decisions?
  • How might this impact a shift in national dollars to local, and local dollars to TV from digital?

About Ryan Reed

As Director of Innovation, Ryan Reed leads Lotame’s efforts in bringing audience-driven solutions to the television industry. He has been the driving force behind Lotame’s SmartTV Audiences data segments and aiTV, enabling audience-targeting capabilities for linear TV.  Ryan first began building software solutions for the local broadcast industry as a Product Manager with Matrix Solutions. Prior to joining Lotame, Ryan led product efforts for Comcast’s Interactive Television initiatives and developed Interactive TV products for Canoe Ventures, a joint venture of the 6 largest cable providers. Ryan has a BS from the Tepper School at Carnegie Mellon University with a concentration in Computer Science and Information Technology.
