Lotame Data Stream is a continuous firehose of real-time data, provided to enterprises to fuel…
On Tuesday, September 19th, the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) hosted a small, roundtable event with seven senior members of the European Parliament’s Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee. Lotame’s GC and VP of Global Privacy, Tiffany Morris, participated in the discussion, along with representatives from Facebook, Google, and AT&T.
Coinciding with the first annual review of Privacy Shield in Washington D.C., the event fostered a lively and congenial discussion about European privacy regulation and its impact on technological innovation and growth. Lotame was the sole DMP at the table and was happy to share, on behalf of its clients and partners, some of the challenges that participants in the third party ecosystem face in light of pending legislation – particularly ePrivacy.
Tiffany Morris will also be leading a webinar on October 18, 2017 discussing The General Data Protection Regulation that will come into effect on May 25, 2018. The GDPR will be representing the biggest change to the data protection regime in the EU since the 1995 Data Protection Directive.
