Lotame today announced its participation in the IBM Digital Data Exchange (DDX), the company’s tag management solution that provides a single tag for the collection and distribution of real-time behavioral digital data. The partnership allows customers of IBM’s Digital Analytics suite and Lotame’s DMP to easily manage their tags under the umbrella of IBM’s tag management solution.
Through the integration, Lotame becomes a native part of IBM’s Digital Analytics suite, with its own branded, fully customized area within the product suite. Since Lotame can now fire its tags within the IBM container tag, it speeds up the loading time for customer’s sites, and ensures the tags are accurately placed. The integration with IBM DDX reflects Lotame’s constant pursuit of finding new and innovative ways to allow their customers to easily collect, organize and activate their audience data.
“A key benefit of this integration is that it gives our clients access to their site analytics, tag management and DMP all in one convenient location,” said Andy Monfried, Founder and CEO of Lotame. “For shared customers of Lotame and IBM, placing tags will become a much simpler, more streamlined experience, while also increasing site performance.”
Shared customers can use this free service to action, manage and place tags on their web properties that use the Digital Analytics platform with very little work on their behalf. By using the IBM container tag, shared customers will also have the ability to monitor the load time and performance of each tag.
For IBM, the addition of Lotame to IBM Digital Data Exchange provides value for their customers through the integration with the leading unifying data management platform on the market.
Lotame’s addition to IBM’s Digital Analytics platform establishes a foundation for future integrations between the two companies. For now, however, the current integration has great benefits for Lotame, IBM and their customers, making life easier for all parties involved.
